We are regulars at the Odeon. The staff are very friendly and helpful and everywhere is extremely clean. There is a good selection of films in 2D and 3D. It's nice to have Costa there but you need to leave extra time to get a coffee as there is usually a queue. I would give it five stars if they reduced their prices. Other Odeon Cinemas charge around £5 less per film. Also recommend taking your own bags of sweets as the cost of the pick and mix is extortionate. It is a myth that everyone in the Southeast is rich. There are plenty of students and pensioners in Guildford They get the same amount of money as someone living in the poorest area of Great Britain. My son has tackled the Odeon on Twitter about their charges but they declined to answer his queries.
Located next to a scenic river and bridge, Odeon Guildford is a smaller and more intimate cinema which is great for a viewing alone or with a small group of friends. The viewing experience is standard with any Odeon, with high quality audio and visuals, however I feel that a few of the screens could be a bit larger. There is also a convenient back exit when leaving the cinema which takes you straight to the path into town or on the 15 minute walk back to the University of Surrey.

The good points is that it's offers great theatre. Sometimes pre West End, sometimes on regional tours. As a venue it's a bit faded. When it's full it can get hot, if there is air conditioning it doesn't work very well.
We had an excellent evening at the Guildford School of Acting production of Cats. The Yvonne Arnaud theatre is a landmark in Guildford. We'll appointed with a fine restaurant, cafe and bar. We look forward to a successful programme of events in 2018.

Fantastic little theatre with great facilities. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the whole place is really well put together. Backstage is fairly spacious for such a small space. They have well appointed changing rooms, which are well lit and cared for. They usually have a great variety of events on and it is a really warm and friendly environment for the local community.
Great venue! Just left a Gospel concert in the Electric Theatre. The acoustics was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. The lighting was really really good and the seating was comfortable & spacious. Great venue and I'd go back again!
